Queensrÿche hyller Pink Floyd, U2 og Police

Musikkmagasinet Billboard.com melder at Queensrÿche på sitt album Take Cover vil servere fansen coverlåter som Pink Floyds Welcome To The Machine, U2s Bullet The Blue Sky og Peter Gabriels Red Rain.

Albumet slippes 13. november og vil utelukkende bestå av coverlåter. Vokalist Geoff Tate sier dette om hvordan albumet ble til: «During sound checks, [guitarists Mike Stone and Michael Wilton] like to play ‘name that riff,’ and sometimes the whole band joins in. That’s really the way this album came together. We got together and started playing songs to each other, and then we picked our favorites.»
